Recently I had the pleasure to meet Tom Edwards when I was selling my townhouse in North Delta, BC. At the point I called him I was very discouraged as two realtors had given me very low quotes well under my tax assed value, Tom took the time to explain to me why that happens and gave me a realistic quote on what he felt I could get for the size and location. We listed my home and we had an accepted offer with in 1 day for allot more than the other quotes I received. He also knew the building that was best for me to move into he started my search in this complex and also ended there in a different unit. I’m a busy professional. I had a tight budget and even tighter time line to purchase a home in North Delta. Buying a home at anytime is a stressful event. However, in this time when the market is red hot for sellers, I felt completely overwhelmed….how could I ever get a home when swarms of other eager buyers, who probably had deeper pockets than I? I called Tom and laid out the budget, time line and the must haves and must not haves. Tom was cool and calm and took me to see a lot of places. Tom was able to get me into into places without the typical horde of buyers you see at open house. One of these places turned out to fit my needs and with Tom’s adept coaching and negotiating skills I was able to put in an offer and close the sale.
